SDCBTC offers different levels of membership that are designed to maintain the integrity of its mission. The goal is to insure that members are proud to be part of this consortium, while benefiting no matter their level of their membership.

 

Professional Members are clinicians in good standing and/or researchers who have provided proof of possessing a background that shows they are proficient in the theory and practice of CBT or a related field of practice as indicated by fulfilling any two of the following:

  • 6 mos of clinical supervision with a expert in CBT or a related field
  • 40 hours of graduate/post-graduate coarsework in CBT or a related field
  • 30 hours of workshop,  or trainings from a expert in CBT or a related field

Note:  If you are a certified member of the Academy of Cognitive Therapy all requirements are met and you are eligible for a Professional Membership upon proof of your Certification.


 

General Members are clinicians in good standing who have an interest in CBT or a related field and may be in the process of becoming certified or who have a good understanding but seek more training to become proficient in CBT or a related field of practice.

 


Student Members are in graduate program and seek additional educational and clinical/research experience in CBT or a related field of practice.
